If you’re looking for a playlist to complement your World Cup 2014 viewing party, Pepsi’s got you covered.
Pepsi teamed up with several entertainers and filmmakers to create a visual album, “Pepsi Beats of the Beautiful Game,” that captures the spirit of the World Cup, which kicked off (pun intended) Thursday afternoon in Brazil.
Each song is accompanied by a short film about communities experiencing the game of soccer together.
Two Rock The Vote artists, Janelle Monae and Santigold, are featured on the album in addition to Rita Ora, Timbaland, Kelly Rowland, and more. Spike Lee and Idris Elba are a couple of the directors behind the visual components of the songs.
The innovative and inspirational project is designed to celebrate countries around the globe coming together for a month-long event of camaraderie and lively competition.
